Slim Your Tummy With A Child’s Toy

March 4th, 2009

Everyone from Kelly Rutherford (Gossip Girl) to Marcia Cross (Desperate Housewives) are joining in on a new tummy slimming craze!  According to Doctor Christine Northrup M.D. The secret to slimming  after pregnancy is a child’s hula hoop for under $5.00!

Northrup, the  author of The Secret Pleasures of Menopause says that it completely eliminates the stubborn roll around your middle and  the pads of fat on the hips. Just hula hoop an hour a day. Science proves it too, according to studies one minute of hula hoping can burn as many calories as running an 8 minute mile says the cooper institute in Dallas.  The hula hoop activity targets the external oblique and internal oblique abdominal muscles that encircle the waist and tummy.

What are you waiting for?  Get to hooping!!
